Both! Amritam MUN is a massive dual-phase experience. Phase I is our Global Virtual Convention, a digital arena designed for ultimate accessibility, uniting brilliant minds globally without geographical limits. Phase II is our Offline Convention in Bilaspur, an exclusive, premium in-person experience featuring intense real-world debate and networking. Both phases are independent powerhouse events designed to offer unique, unparalleled diplomatic experiences!
Derived from ancient Sanskrit, Amritam refers to the nectar of immortality. In our context, it symbolizes ideas and legacies that live beyond a single lifetime.
Not at all! Model UN is a learning platform. Many first-timers discover their voice during the conference. The chairs are there to guide you.
A position paper is a short essay detailing your assigned country's policies on the committee's agenda. It helps you research and prepare before the conference begins.
You can always refer to your notes! Furthermore, during Unmoderated Caucuses, you will work in teams (blocs), taking the pressure off individual speaking and focusing on collaboration.
